About
Me — Li Yao, Silvia Welcome to my website! My name is Li Yao, a 17-year-old girl.
I am a PRC scholar in the 14th SM3 group. When I was in China, I studied in Central South University. I came from
the city of Shijiazhuang,
Hebei province. I have been having bridging
course in NIE since January and will enter NTU in July. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music. Also I appreciate
my friends for enriching my life so much. I have chosen EEE as my major, with the hope to become a CEO in a
multinational.
Life in NIE NIE provides me an excellent circumstance to study English. The courses in NIE help me to improve my
writing, reading, listening and speaking skills. Moreover, the creative teaching method benefits me a lot. I gain a lot by
doing different projects and by working in a group. In addition, in DLS class I learn to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and
Excel. Life in NIE is interesting and enjoyable. We organized basketball matches ourselves which were exciting. MOE organized
learning journeys and other outings for us as well. Through these activities I know more about local culture.
